Green Mill Halftime Shootout
Harding Senior High School was very pleased to welcome a special guest for the Thursday - February 25th, 2016 Girls Varsity Basketball game.

Tim O'Brien, who operates multiple Green Mill restaurant locations accepted our request to come out and sponsor a halftime show for the last home conference game of the season. Tim and Green Mill chose 5 Harding Students to complete a basketball shootout challenge. The Harding student participants were given forty five seconds to make a lay up, free throw, three point and half court shot. Students won a prize for each shot made and had a chance to win the grand prize which was free Green Mill Pizza for one year.(make all 4) Although our participants came up short for the grand prize, all were able to make it to the half court shot.

As an end result, the night was successful with our students winning a variety of Green Mill prizes and our Varsity Lady Knights winning 64-41vs. Highland Park.

The Lady Knights finished the season second in conference play with an impressive 9-3 record (17-4) This is their best finish since 1993.

Thank you Tim and Green Mill for creating a special memory for our 2016 Lady Knight's Senior Night and Harding Community.

Go Knights!
